Akrapovic BMW M4 Slip-On Line overview
The Akrapovic BMW M4 Slip-On Line S-BM/T/40H is a high-grade lightweight titanium exhaust system for the BMW M4 (G82, G83) OPF/GPF. Built as a Slip-On Line Titanium system, it combines lower weight, Akrapovič sound control, carbon-fibre tailpipe styling, and dyno-tested performance gains.
The system is 35% lighter than the stock exhaust and features a pair of collectors cast in Akrapovič’s in-house foundry. It is designed to deliver a rich tone during normal cruising and a deeper, sportier sound when the M3/M4 is driven more dynamically.
Titanium construction and carbon-fibre tailpipes
This Slip-On Line system is constructed from high-grade lightweight titanium and finished with hand-crafted carbon-fibre tailpipes. The tailpipe design is available in two styles: the ground-breaking octagonal shape made from lightweight titanium with a carbon-fibre outer sleeve, or a more traditional classic cylindrical design.

Akrapovič control kit and sound character
The Slip-On Line Titanium system comes with a specially developed Akrapovič control kit for a complete sound experience. The sound character offers a rich tone at normal cruising and rises to a deep, sporty sound when the M3/M4 is driven more dynamically.
This gives the exhaust a balanced character, combining comfort and sportiness in one system.
Performance and weight data
When tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a BMW M4 Competition with a standard stock exhaust, the system delivered a power increase of 8.0 kW / 10.9 hp at 6,000 rpm and a torque gain of 13.9 Nm at 5,000 rpm.
The Akrapovič system weighs 15.3 kg, compared with 23.5 kg for the standard stock exhaust. This gives a weight reduction of 8.3 kg, equal to 35.0%.
Remapping is not needed for this configuration.

Fitment and compatibility
According to the supplied product information, this exhaust system fits BMW M4 (G82, G83) applications. It also fits xDrive, CSL, CS, LCI, M3 Touring (G81), M4 (G83) Competition, and Convertible models.
The system fits both OPF and non-OPF vehicles. However, the ECE certificate is valid only for cars equipped with OPF filters. The ECE type-approval certificate is not valid for CSL and CS models.
ECE approval and optional parts
The Slip-On Line Titanium exhaust system is ECE type-approved for cars equipped with Otto/gasoline particulate filters. The ECE type-approval certificate covers Euro 6 EC-compliant vehicles.
Optional link pipes and downpipes are available for closed circuit usage. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is also available. With the installation of optional link pipes, downpipes, or the Akrapovič Sound Kit, the ECE type approval of the Slip-On Line Titanium system is no longer valid.
An optional hand-crafted carbon-fibre rear diffuser is also available to add extra visual impact to the Akrapovič tailpipes.
