Akrapovic Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Slip-On Line overview
The Akrapovic Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC (W206, S206) Slip-On Line S-ME/T/18H is a full high-grade titanium exhaust system developed for the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC. Designed as a Slip-On Line Titanium system, it combines lightweight construction, valve-controlled sound, carbon-fibre tailpipe styling, and ECE type approval for cars equipped with a gasoline particulate filter.
This exhaust is built to provide a smooth sound at cruising speeds and a more dramatic, sportier tone as revs and engine load increase.
Titanium construction and acoustic design
The system uses full high-grade titanium construction and is finished with a pair of twin tailpipes. These tailpipes feature hand-crafted carbon-fibre outer sleeves and high-grade titanium inner sleeves.
Special collectors inside both mufflers eliminate streaming noise, while inner cones act as acoustic reflectors. These reflectors partially direct sound from the bumper-mounted tailpipes forward toward the cabin, helping create a distinctive sound experience.
Valve-controlled sound character
Sound is controlled by two exhaust valves and a control kit. The system monitors driving parameters and precisely controls valve opening and closing to create a finely tuned sound.
At cruising speeds, the tone remains smooth. As revs rise and the car is driven more dynamically, the exhaust sound becomes more dramatic and sportier.
Performance and weight data
When tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC with a standard stock exhaust, the system recorded a power increase of 6.3 kW / 8.6 hp at 6,650 rpm and a torque gain of 13.5 Nm at 2,650 rpm.
The Akrapovič system weighs 10.0 kg, compared with 13.6 kg for the standard stock exhaust. This gives a weight reduction of 3.6 kg, equal to 26.5%.

ECE approval and required link pipe choice
This product is ECE type approved. The Slip-On Line Titanium exhaust system is ECE type approved for cars equipped with a gasoline particulate filter.
The plug-and-play installation means no remapping is required.
With the Slip-On Line, one additional mandatory product must be selected:
- Link Pipe Set L-ME/T/12
- Evolution Link Pipe Set E-ME/SS/2
An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is also available, as well as the optional Evolution Link Pipe Set SS for owners looking for an enhanced acoustic experience and greater performance from the Akrapovič Slip-On Line Titanium exhaust.
With the installation of the Evolution Link Pipe Set SS E-ME/SS/2 and Akrapovič Sound Kit, ECE type approval of the Slip-On Line Titanium is no longer valid.
