Wagner Tuning Competition Side Water Cooler for AMG E 63 (S) W213 (4.0L V8 Biturbo) – 210% more volume

Unleash the power of your Mercedes-AMG E 63 (S) with the ultimate side cooler upgrade! This Wagner Tuning Competition side water cooler is the key component for thermal stabilization of the 4.0L V8 biturbo engine (M177). The massive 210% volume increase in the low-temperature circuit guarantees stable temperatures – ideal for racetrack performance and performance-enhanced vehicles.

Why this side water cooler is a must-have for your AMG E 63 (S):

Record volume increase: The Competition racing intercooler core expands the cooler volume of the side cooler by an incredible +210% (5.5 liters vs. OEM 1.77 liters).
Direct performance increase: Lowers the coolant temperature in the indirect intercooler circuit. This maximizes the cooling performance of the charge air and prevents heat-related power loss (anti-heat soaking).
Maximum heat transfer: The optimized ratio between the inner and outer cooling surfaces ensures maximum efficiency in heat exchange while maintaining airflow.
Durable and reliable: Equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating for long-lasting, reliable cooling.
Plug & Play installation: Installation is straightforward and virtually plug & play thanks to detailed installation instructions.
Technical detail: Cooling circuit optimization for the AMG M177 biturbo
The 4.0L V8 biturbo engine (M177) of the Mercedes-AMG E 63 (S) (W213 / S213 series) uses a dedicated cooling water circuit to cool the charge air. Reducing the cooling water temperature in this circuit is the most effective way to optimize the performance and reliability of the engine.
The Wagner Tuning side water cooler achieves a 210% increase in volume through a massive increase in depth (from 32 mm to 86 mm) and a 15% increase in cooling surface area. This extreme increase in cooling capacity in the side cooler keeps the system temperature at a lower level over a longer period of time – a critical advantage for the reliability of 571 hp and 612 hp engines.
Technical data in direct comparison(OEM vs. Wagner Tuning side cooler)
The Wagner Tuning side water cooler offers decisive advantages over the standard part:
Volume (V): From OEM 1.77 L to 5.5 L (increase +210%).
Dimensions (depth): From OEM 32 mm to 86 mm (almost three times as thick!).
Surface area (A): From OEM 553 cm² to 638 cm² (increase of +15%).
OEM side cooler dimensions:
260 mm x 213 mm x 32 mm
V = 1.77 liters
A = 553 cm²

Wagner Tuning side cooler dimensions:
264 mm x 242 mm x 86 mm
V = 5.5 liters (+210%)
A = 638 cm² (+15%)

This side water cooler is plug-and-play compatible with the following models with the M177 engine:
Mercedes Benz E63 AMG W213 / S213 (420 kW/571 hp, from 2017)
Mercedes Benz E63S AMG W213 / S213 (450 kW/612 hp, from 2017)
