Wagner Tuning Competition Side Water Cooler for BMW M3/M4 (F80, F82, F83) – 94% more volume incl. certificate

Experience unlimited performance with the ultimate upgrade for your BMW M3/M4 (F8x)! The Wagner Tuning Competition side water cooler is a key element in the thermal stabilization of the 3.0L S55B30 turbo engine. With an impressive 94% increase in volume in the low-temperature circuit, this upgrade ensures thermal stability – now including a parts certificate.

Why this side water cooler is a must-have for your BMW M3/M4:
Massive volume expansion: The side water cooler increases the cooler volume in the low-temperature circuit by an impressive +94% compared to the standard part.
Approved & legal: Now with parts certificate for maximum safety and uncomplicated registration.
Direct performance boost: Effectively lowers the coolant temperature in the indirect intercooler circuit, which improves intercooler performance and prevents heat-related power loss (anti-heat soaking).
Competition Intercooler core technology: The high-performance competition racing core ensures maximum heat transfer and sufficient airflow.
Optimal airflow: Includes a carbon air duct for the side radiator that maximizes airflow.
Durability & protection: Equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating for long-term, reliable cooling.
Plug & play installation: Installation is straightforward and virtually plug & play thanks to detailed installation instructions.

Technical detail: Cooling circuit optimization for the BMW S55
The 3.0-liter S55B30 turbo engine (BMW M3/M4) uses an indirect intercooler circuit (low-temperature circuit). The temperature of this cooling water is crucial for power output. The Wagner Tuning Competition water cooler kit (consisting of front and side coolers) addresses this bottleneck: The 94% volume expansion of the side cooler (in addition to the 89% expansion of the front cooler) significantly reduces the water temperature in the circuit. This allows the engine control unit to deliver consistently higher power, which is essential for tuned vehicles and track use.

Technical data in direct comparison (OEM vs. Wagner Tuning side cooler)
The Wagner Tuning side water cooler offers decisive advantages over the standard cooler:
Volume: With 3.2 liters, the Wagner Tuning cooler offers 94% more volume compared to the OEM cooler with 1.65 liters.
Dimensions (depth): At 68 mm deep, the Wagner Tuning unit is significantly thicker than the standard cooler at 40 mm.
Cooling surface: The cooling surface (A) increases by 14.9% to 473.8 cm² (vs. OEM 412.5 cm²).
Extra: Includes carbon air duct for further optimization of cooling performance.
