Wagner Tuning Competition Water Cooler Kit for AMG C 63 (S) W205 (4.0L V8 Biturbo) – 80% more cooling volume

Experience the ultimate in consistent performance with this upgrade for your Mercedes-AMG C 63 (S)! The Wagner Tuning Competition Water Cooler Kit is the essential upgrade for your 4.0L V8 biturbo engine (M 177). The impressive 80% volume increase (front and side coolers) drastically lowers the coolant temperature and ensures thermal stability – even under the most extreme loads.

Why this water cooler kit is a must for your C 63 (S) W205:

Massive volume expansion: The kit (front and side coolers) increases the total cooler volume of the standard system by an impressive +80% thanks to the Competition racing intercooler core.
Direct performance increase: Effectively lowers the coolant temperature in the indirect intercooler circuit. This optimizes intercooler cooling and prevents heat-related power loss (anti-heat soaking).
Maximum heat transfer: The optimal ratio between internal and external cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer while maintaining sufficient airflow for adjacent components.
Durable and reliable: Equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating for long-term, reliable cooling.
Plug & play installation: Installation is straightforward and virtually plug & play thanks to detailed installation instructions.

Technical detail: Cooling circuit optimization for the M 177 biturbo
The 4.0L V8 biturbo engine of the Mercedes-AMG C 63 (S) (W205 series) uses an indirect intercooler circuit in which the charge air is cooled by separate cooling water. The temperature of this water is the critical bottleneck for power output. The Wagner Tuning Competition water cooler kit eliminates this bottleneck: The 80% increase in volume (through optimized front and side coolers) significantly reduces the water temperature in the circuit. This allows the engine control unit to deliver consistently higher power, which is essential for tuned vehicles and on the racetrack.

Technical data in direct comparison (OEM vs. Wagner Tuning)
The Wagner Tuning radiator kit (consisting of front and side radiators) offers significant advantages:
Total volume: The total volume increases by an impressive +80%.
Front radiator volume: From OEM 7.43 liters to 13.25 liters.
Side radiator volume: From OEM 1.62 liters to 3.00 liters.
Dimensions (depth): At 52 mm deep, the radiators are significantly thicker than the standard radiators at 27 mm.

OEM front radiator dimensions:
640 mm x 430 mm x 27 mm
V = 7.43 liters
A = 2752 cm²

Wagner Tuning front radiator dimensions:
645 mm x 395 mm x 52 mm
V = 13.25 liters
A = 2548 cm²

OEM side cooler dimensions:
240 mm x 250 mm x 27 mm
V = 1.62 liters
A = 600 cm²

Wagner Tuning side cooler dimensions:
240 mm x 240 mm x 52 mm
V = 3.00 liters
