Wagner Tuning Competition Additional Water Cooler for BMW B48 & B58 (F Series) – 117% more cooling volume

Experience maximum performance with the ultimate cooling system upgrade for your BMW! The Wagner Tuning Competition water cooler kit was specially developed for the popular B48 (2.0L) and B58 (3.0L) turbo engines. With a record-breaking 117% increase in volume, this additional cooler drastically reduces the coolant temperature, ensures thermal stability, and enables consistent maximum performance.

Why this water cooler kit is a must-have for your BMW B48/B58:
Record-breaking volume expansion: The kit increases the cooler volume of the standard system by an impressive +117%.
Direct performance boost: Indirect intercooler cooling is optimized by effectively lowering the coolant temperature in the indirect intercooler circuit. This prevents heat-related power loss (anti-heat soaking).
Maximized heat transfer: The high-performance competition racing mesh ensures maximum heat transfer and provides sufficient airflow to adjacent components.
Durability & protection: Equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating for long-term and reliable cooling.
Plug & play installation: Installation is straightforward and virtually plug & play thanks to detailed installation instructions.
Technical detail: Cooling circuit optimization for B48 & B58 engines

The BMW B48B20 (2.0L) and B58B30M0 (3.0L) turbo engines use an indirect intercooler circuit. Here, the charge air is cooled via a separate cooling water circuit, the temperature of which directly influences engine performance. This is where the Wagner Tuning Competition water cooler kit comes in: the 117% increase in volume lowers the temperature in the cooling water circuit, allowing the ECU (engine control unit) to release more ignition angle and boost pressure. This leads to a noticeable improvement in driving dynamics and is essential for tuned vehicles.

Technical data in direct comparison
The Wagner Tuning auxiliary water cooler offers decisive advantages over the standard cooler:
Volume: With 16.70 liters, the Wagner Tuning cooler offers 117% more volume compared to the OEM cooler with 7.70 liters.
Dimensions (depth): At 68 mm deep, the Wagner Tuning unit is significantly thicker than the standard cooler at 27 mm.
Cooler mesh: A high-performance competition racing intercooler core is used.

The Wagner Tuning Competition Water Cooler Kit is plug-and-play compatible with the following BMW models with B48 and B58 engines (F-series LCI):
