Wagner Tuning Competition Additional Water Cooler for Audi RS4 B9 & RS5 F5 (2.9L V6 Biturbo) – 55% more cooling volume

Discover ultimate and consistent performance for your Audi RS4 B9 and RS5 F5! The Wagner Tuning Competition water cooler kit is the essential upgrade for stabilizing and increasing the performance of your 2.9L V6 biturbo engine (EA839). The massive 55% increase in volume drastically lowers the coolant temperature and ensures thermal stability under full load.

Why this additional cooler is a must for your Audi RS4 B9 / RS5 F5:

Massive volume expansion: The Competition racing Intercooler core increases the cooler volume of the standard water cooler by an impressive +55% (13.52 liters vs. OEM 8.73 liters).
Direct performance increase: Effectively lowers the coolant temperature in the indirect intercooler circuit. This improves intercooler cooling and prevents heat-related power loss (anti-heat soaking).
Maximum heat transfer: The optimized ratio between internal and external cooling surface guarantees maximum heat transfer while ensuring sufficient airflow for adjacent components.
Durable and reliable: Equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating for long-term and reliable cooling.
Plug & play installation: Installation is straightforward and virtually plug & play thanks to user-friendly installation instructions.
Technical detail: Cooling circuit optimization for the 2.9L V6 biturbo (EA839)

The 2.9L V6 biturbo engine (engine code EA839) in the Audi RS4 B9 and RS5 F5 models is equipped with an advanced indirect intercooler circuit. In this system, the charge air is cooled via a separate cooling water circuit. Reducing the coolant temperature is therefore the key to improving charge air performance and ensuring that the engine can deliver its full rated power even during sporty driving. The Wagner Tuning upgrade water cooler solves this bottleneck by increasing the volume by 55% and the depth (from 25 mm to 40 mm).

Technical data in direct comparison (OEM vs. Wagner Tuning)
The Wagner Tuning auxiliary water cooler offers decisive advantages over the standard cooler:
Volume: With 13.52 liters, the Wagner Tuning cooler offers 55% more volume compared to the OEM cooler with 8.73 liters.
Dimensions (depth): At 40 mm deep, the Wagner Tuning unit is significantly thicker than the standard cooler at 25 mm.
Cooler core: A high-performance competition racing intercooler core is used.

OEM water cooler dimensions:
720 mm x 485 mm x 25 mm
V = 8.73 liters
A = 3492 cm²

Wagner Tuning water cooler dimensions:
690 mm x 490 mm x 40 mm
V = 13.52 liters
A = 3381 cm²

Vehicle compatibility (Audi RS4 B9 & RS5 F5)
The Wagner Tuning Competition water cooler kit is plug-and-play compatible with the following models with the 2.9L V6 biturbo engine:
Audi RS4 B9 (331 kW/450 hp, from 2017)
Audi RS5 F5 (331 kW/450 hp, from 2017)
