Our high-performance intercooler was specially developed for the demanding 2.9 liter V6 biturbo engine (VW EA839) of the Audi RS4/RS5 models. It replaces the standard water-cooled intercooler and offers you a multitude of advantages.

With our new performance intercooler core, which measures 222 mm x 200 mm x 120 mm, we have increased the external core volume by an impressive 185%. The optimal ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer and optimal internal airflow. The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and perfected with the help of CFD simulations. The result is outstanding cooling properties with minimal back pressure. Our high-performance intercooler is therefore also ideally suited for racing and ensures optimum cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance.

For a long-lasting and reliable cooling effect, all our Wagner Tuning intercoolers are equipped with a thermally conductive anti-corrosion coating. Installation of the system is uncomplicated thanks to our detailed installation instructions and is carried out using the plug & play method.

The advantages at a glance:

– Significantly improved cooling performance for optimum power delivery
– Minimized back pressure for optimized performance
– More power and torque for a more intense driving experience
– Mechanical relief of the turbocharger for a longer service life
– 100% pressure resistance for maximum reliability
– Simple and easy installation using the plug & play method
– Up to 4-year warranty for a worry-free driving experience

Take your Audi RS4/RS5 to a new level of performance with our WagnerTuning high-performance intercooler. Experience outstanding cooling performance and maximum performance in every race!

The 2.9L V6 biturbo engine in these models is equipped with an advanced indirect charge air cooling circuit. Unlike conventional systems, the charge air cooling process is not realized by ambient air, but by a separate cooling water circuit. A reduction in the cooling water temperature therefore leads directly to an improved cooling performance of the charge air. This is where the advantages of the Wagner Tuning Upgrade water cooler come into their own.

The newly developed competition racing core of the Wagner Tuning high-performance water cooler increases the radiator volume of the standard water cooler by an impressive 55%. The optimized ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer and at the same time guarantees sufficient air flow for adjacent components such as the engine water cooler. In addition, the water coolers are equipped with a thermally conductive anti-corrosion coating that ensures a long-term cooling effect. Installation of the system is straightforward and virtually plug & play thanks to our user-friendly installation instructions.
