The 2.0 liter TDI engine of the VW T6/T6.1 is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit, which does not cool the charge air with ambient air as usual, but with its own cooling water circuit. Lowering the cooling water temperature leads directly to an improved cooling performance of the charge air. This is where the advantages of our Wagner Tuning Upgrade water coolers come into play.

Our newly developed competition racing core`s increase the radiator volume of the standard water cooler by an impressive 30%. The ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer and at the same time allows sufficient airflow for adjacent components such as the engine water cooler. The high-quality WagnerTuning oil cooler kit prevents excessive oil temperatures and is therefore a must for all VW T6 2.0(Bi)TDI vehicles.
Due to the additional cooling surface, the oil temperature is optimally cooled even under high loads, thus ensuring constant oil pressure.

Furthermore, a certain amount of noise (slight whirring) may occur after the kit has been installed. This noise is caused by the pulsation of the oil within the lines. If the lines are laid as far as possible decoupled from the bodywork and its components, this noise can be minimized until it is barely perceptible.
