The 2.0 liter TDI engine of the VW T6/T6.1 is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit, which does not cool the charge air with ambient air as usual, but with its own cooling water circuit. A reduction in the cooling water temperature leads directly to an improved cooling performance of the charge air. This is where the advantages of our Wagner Tuning Upgrade water coolers come into play.

Our newly developed competition racing core`s increase the radiator volume of the standard water cooler by an impressive 30%. The ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer and at the same time allows sufficient air flow for adjacent components such as the engine water cooler. The increased cooling water volume means that the entire system thermal can be kept at a lower level over a longer period of time.

All Wagner Tuning water coolers are equipped with a thermally conductive anti-corrosion coating, which ensures a long-lasting cooling effect. The installation of the system is uncomplicated and almost plug & play thanks to our detailed installation instructions.

Prepare your VW T6/T6.1 2.0 TDI for maximum performance and optimum cooling with our competition water cooler kit.

Attention: According to the KBA, oil coolers are not relevant for approval! Registration can therefore also be carried out without a parts certificate.

Furthermore, a certain amount of noise (slight whirring) may occur after the kit has been installed. This noise is caused by the pulsation of the oil within the lines. If the lines are laid as far as possible decoupled from the bodywork and its components, this noise can be minimized until it is barely perceptible.
