Actual performance improvements depend on vehicle condition, engine configuration, fuel quality, operating conditions and other technical factors.

Advanced Performance Technology with Up to 7 Channels

RaceChip GTS 5 BLACK uses ultramodern automotive hardware and sophisticated engine optimization software to deliver performance improvements tailored to the individual vehicle application. Supporting up to 7 analogue and digital channels, the system can process multiple relevant engine signals, depending on the vehicle configuration. This allows the tuning software to coordinate performance optimization with the operating characteristics of the engine. The result is a highly developed chip tuning solution that combines powerful acceleration with controlled and consistent engine response.

7 Fine-Tuning Mappings for Individual Performance

The GTS 5 BLACK features 7 adjustable fine-tuning mappings, allowing drivers to adapt the tuning characteristics to the engine and their individual preferences. Every module is supplied with a vehicle-specific base mapping developed for the corresponding engine application. The integrated Digital User Interface provides access to additional fine-tuning settings without requiring specialist tools. This flexibility makes it possible to adjust the performance characteristics while retaining the engine-specific foundation of the RaceChip software.

Integrated Warm-Up Timer for Engine Protection

High-performance engines should reach their appropriate operating temperature before delivering maximum power. RaceChip GTS 5 BLACK includes an integrated Warm-Up Timer designed to manage the availability of the full tuning increase during the engine warm-up phase. The system delays the full additional performance until the configured warm-up period has been completed. This encourages a more considerate approach to engine operation and helps reduce unnecessary high-load operation immediately after starting. The Warm-Up Timer is particularly valuable for performance-oriented drivers who want additional power while maintaining sensible engine operating practices.

Optional RaceChip App Control

With optional RaceChip App Control, the RaceChip GTS 5 BLACK can be managed through a compatible smartphone. The application provides convenient access to three different tuning modes, allowing drivers to adapt performance characteristics to different driving situations.

• Efficiency Mode: Optimized for smoother everyday driving and potentially reduced fuel consumption.
• Sport Mode: Designed for dynamic acceleration and responsive performance on country roads.
• Race Mode: Provides the most performance-oriented tuning configuration for maximum driving enjoyment.

The RaceChip application also supports additional functions, including:

• Switching back to the standard tuning configuration
• Support-assisted fine-tuning
• Software updates
• Control of compatible RaceChip XLR throttle tuning systems
• Expanded service functions

Important: RaceChip App Control is optional and available for an additional charge. It is not included unless specifically selected with the product.

Optional RaceChip SMART Features

RaceChip GTS 5 BLACK supports an optional SMART Features package that provides additional functionality related to engine operation, installation verification and performance management. The available SMART Features include:

• SMART Warm Up: Additional warm-up management functionality designed to support responsible performance use.
• SMART Engine Health Check: Provides supported engine-related monitoring and status information.
• SMART Installation Check: Helps verify the correct installation and connection of the tuning system.

These features provide additional convenience for drivers who want more information and control over their tuning setup. Important: SMART Features are an optional package and may require an additional purchase. Availability and functionality depend on the specific vehicle and RaceChip configuration.
