Eventuri BMW G20, G21, G22, G23, G26 B58 M340i, M440i 2025+ Carbon Intake EVE-G20B58N2-CF-INT

The Eventuri BMW G20, G21, G22, G23, G26 B58 M340i, M440i 2025+ Carbon Intake EVE-G20B58N2-CF-INT developed for the updated B58 platform, this intake system focuses on two important requirements for turbocharged engines: increasing the available airflow supply and helping control intake temperature. Because the intake sits close to the exhaust manifold, heat management is a key part of the design. Eventuri uses a fully sealed carbon fiber airbox to isolate the filter from engine-bay heat, supported by a gold-reflective heat shield on the exhaust manifold side to help reduce radiant heat transfer.

Design and airflow engineering

The airbox is designed with a large internal volume within the available engine bay space.  A recessed section is included to accommodate potential strut brace clearance, while the sealed layout helps maintain a more controlled cold-air supply to the filter.During development, Eventuri identified an additional opening into the wheel arch area. This allowed the system to use a secondary fresh-air feed alongside the factory front duct feed. The dual-feed carbon fiber airbox is intended to reduce intake restriction by giving the turbocharger a larger fresh-air supply area. An internal splash guard is also incorporated into the wheel arch feed design to help deflect water away from the filter area.

Carbon fiber inlet tube and high-flow filter

The factory intake tube uses a flexible, convoluted section. Eventuri replaces this with a smooth carbon fiber inlet tube designed to create a cleaner flow path toward the OEM turbo elbow. The supplied product data lists a 111 mm opening internal diameter, with the tube tapering smoothly toward the factory turbo inlet connection.

The system also uses a bespoke high-flow dry cone filter. The filter is made from a double-layered non-woven mesh material, is cleanable, and is ISO tested for filtration performance in line with OEM standards. Eventuri also integrates an internal flow-guiding cone inside the filter to help airflow converge more smoothly through the filter space.

Materials and construction

This intake system uses pre-preg carbon fiber construction, with no fiberglass stated in the supplied manufacturer text.  The carbon fiber components are designed to provide a smooth internal surface, supporting a more consistent airflow path through the intake system. Additional construction details include a CNC-machined temperature sensor mount, a heat shield with gold-reflective backing, and laser-cut stainless steel brackets.
