The Akrapovic M240i (G42) – OPF/GPF Slip-On Line (Titanium) S-BM/T/32H exhaust system is designed to deliver a stunning performance upgrade for your BMW M240i (G42). This high-grade titanium exhaust system offers weight savings, increased power, and a dramatic soundtrack. Featuring two valves (instead of the stock single valve), this system delivers a tailored exhaust note that adapts to your driving style. The inclusion of two acoustic reflectors in the tailpipes helps guide the sound into the cabin, creating a fully immersive experience for all occupants.

The system’s power and torque are increased by 7.1 kW (9.7 hp) at 2,450 rpm and 20.5 Nm at the same rpm when tested on the Akrapovic dyno. The sound transitions from a smooth, rich tone during cruising to a deep, sporty soundtrack when driving enthusiastically. The optional Akrapovic Sound Kit allows you to control the exhaust tones directly from the cockpit, offering complete flexibility.

Akrapovic’s unique manufacturing process uses special parts cast in their in-house foundry, creating the intricate components needed to deliver this performance system. The exhaust system is ECE approved and does not require ECU remapping for installation, making it a hassle-free upgrade for your vehicle (ECE certification is only valid for cars equipped with OPF/GPF).

An additional stock valve actuator (part number 18 30 8 686 640) is required for installation on the BMW M240i (G42).
