The Akrapovic GLS 63 (X167) Evolution Line (Titanium) S-ME/TI/15H/1 is a high-performance exhaust system meticulously designed for the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 (X167). This Evolution Line exhaust delivers a noticeable power gain of 6.3 kW (8.6 hp) and a torque increase of 21.3 Nm at 2,800 rpm, significantly enhancing the driving experience. These performance gains were tested on the Akrapovic dyno, with comparisons made against the stock AMG Performance exhaust system.

A key feature of this exhaust system is the three exhaust valves controlled by a specially developed control kit. Two valves are located on either side of the muffler, and one in the active X-connection in the link pipe. This innovative design creates a perfect sound experience, delivering a pure and deep tone at idle, a burbling sound as the revs rise, and a high-frequency sporty sound at higher rpm, all contributing to a rich and engaging driving soundtrack.

The Akrapovic GLS 63 (X167) Evolution Line (Titanium) is engineered with high-quality titanium, reducing weight by 34.2% compared to the stock exhaust system, which enhances vehicle dynamics and handling. This system is ECE type-approved for cars with an Otto Particulate Filter (OPF), meaning it complies with European road regulations. However, if the Akrapovic Sound Kit is installed, the ECE type approval becomes invalid.

This exhaust system is designed as a direct replacement for the AMG Performance exhaust. It’s engineered to offer enhanced performance, improved sound, and reduced weight, making it a premium upgrade for Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 (X167) owners.
