The Akrapovic GLS 63 (X167) Evolution Line (Titanium) S-ME/T/9H exhaust system is engineered for the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 (X167), delivering outstanding performance with power gains of 6.3 kW (8.6 hp) and a torque increase of 21.3 Nm at 2,800 rpm. These improvements were tested on the Akrapovic dyno against the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupé equipped with the stock AMG Performance exhaust system.

This high-performance exhaust features three exhaust valves, operated by a specially developed control kit: one on either side of the muffler and one in the active X-connection in the link pipe. This design ensures a perfect sound experience, producing a pure, deep tone at idle, a strong burble as the revs rise, and a high-frequency, sporty sound at higher rpm, embodying the performance heritage of the Akrapovic brand.

Designed with convenience in mind, the Evolution Line (Titanium) system requires no ECU remapping upon installation. The system is ECE type approved for vehicles with an Otto Particulate Filter (OPF). However, the ECE type approval is invalid if the Akrapovic Sound Kit is installed, giving drivers the ability to control and enhance the exhaust sound.

This system is made from high-grade lightweight titanium, reducing weight by 34.2% compared to the stock AMG Performance exhaust, enhancing vehicle performance and handling. The system also features handcrafted carbon fibre tailpipes with a titanium inner sleeve, delivering a striking visual impact alongside superior performance.
