The Akrapovic GLE 63 S / GLE 63 S Coupe (C167) Evolution Line (Titanium) S-ME/T/8H exhaust system delivers exceptional performance gains and a thrilling sound experience. Tested on the Akrapovic dyno against a Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe with the stock AMG Performance exhaust, the system achieves 6.3 kW (8.6 hp) of power at 2,800 rpm and 21.3 Nm of torque at 2,800 rpm. These enhancements significantly improve the vehicle’s performance across the entire rev range.

The exhaust system features three exhaust valves, each controlled by a specially developed control kit. One valve is located on either side of the muffler, and the third valve is in the active X-connection in the link pipe. This configuration creates an exceptional sound experience, starting with a full-bodied tone at idle, transitioning to a deep burble as the revs rise, and reaching a high-frequency sporty sound at higher rpms.

The exhaust is designed for easy installation, requiring no remapping of the ECU. The optional Akrapovic Sound Kit allows for full control of the exhaust’s sound spectrum, giving the driver the flexibility to adjust the sound as desired.

The Evolution Line (Titanium) exhaust system is ECE type-approved for cars equipped with an Otto Particulate Filter (OPF), and it fits as a direct replacement for cars with the AMG Performance exhaust. However, please note that the ECE type approval is not valid if the Akrapovic Sound Kit is installed.
