Akrapovic Corvette Stingray (C8) Slip-On Line (Titanium) S-CO/TI/4
Product Description:
The Akrapovic Corvette Stingray (C8) Slip-On Line (Titanium) S-CO/TI/4 exhaust system is engineered for perfection in both performance and sound. Tailored to optimize gas flow from the engine, it produces a V8 throb at low revs, which evolves into a rich roar as the engine speeds up, delivering an aural delight. The two tubes connecting the left and right sides of the system feature different diameters, adding stiffness to the system and enhancing the overall sound experience. These tubes are fully insulated to ensure no excess heat affects other car parts.
This system is designed to provide a perfect throttle response, with a power increase of 3.4 kW (4.6 hp) at 5,250 rpm and a torque gain of 8.2 Nm at 3,100 rpm. When tested on the Akrapovic dyno against the stock sport exhaust system on a Corvette Stingray, these improvements were proven under controlled conditions. However, please note, the ECU needs to be remapped for optimal performance, and this system is intended for use on racetracks and closed courses only.
For further performance upgrades, optional link pipe sets (with or without catalytic converters) are available to enhance the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system.
Important: This product does not meet emission compliance requirements for street or highway use.
