The Akrapovič BMW M2 Slip-On Line S-BM/T/39H is a high-grade titanium exhaust system for the BMW M2 Coupé (G87) with OPF/GPF. Designed as a Slip-On Line Titanium system, it combines lightweight construction, valve-controlled sound, and ECE type approval for cars equipped with Otto/gasoline particulate filters.

This exhaust is developed for drivers who want a more focused Akrapovič upgrade while retaining clear product identification through the S-BM/T/39H code and the confirmed BMW M2 Coupé / CS (G87) OPF application.

Titanium construction and acoustic design

The system is constructed from high-grade titanium and features two valves, one for each side of the muffler. It also includes two acoustic reflectors, helping tailor the exhaust gas flow and sound character depending on driving style.

The valve housings and collectors are cast in Akrapovič’s in-house titanium foundry. This supports a lightweight exhaust design while keeping the engineering closely aligned with the Akrapovič Slip-On Line S-BM/T/39H platform.

The exhaust is designed to deliver a smooth, rich tone during normal cruising and a deep, sporty sound when the BMW M2 Coupé or M2 CS is driven more dynamically.

Tailpipe design options

There is a choice of two tailpipe designs: the octagonal shape first seen on the exhaust for the BMW M3/M4, or a more traditional classic design. The twin sets of tailpipes feature outer sleeves hand crafted from carbon fibre.

The Tail Pipe Set Carbon must be ordered separately as a mandatory part. Choose one of the following options:

Performance and weight data

Akrapovič dyno testing against a BMW M2 Coupé with a standard stock exhaust registered a maximum power gain of 3.9 kW / 5.3 hp at 2,800 rpm and a torque gain of 13.5 Nm at 2,800 rpm.

The exhaust weighs 15.0 kg, compared with 22.3 kg for the standard stock exhaust. This gives a weight reduction of 7.3 kg, equal to 32.7%. ECU remapping is not needed.

ECE approval and optional closed-circuit parts

The Slip-On Line Titanium exhaust system meets ECE type-approval conditions for the BMW M2 Coupé / CS (G87) with OPF filters. It is ECE type-approved for cars equipped with Otto/gasoline particulate filters.

Optional link pipes and downpipes are available for closed circuit usage, along with the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit. If these options are installed, the ECE type approval of the Slip-On Line Titanium system is no longer valid.
