All delivery components such as the hydraulic lines and hydraulic pump are adapted to your Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and all of our components harmonize perfectly with your "gullwing." After all, we equip numerous Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3s in international customer motorsport with our KW Competition motorsport components - and even for models of the Mercedes-Benz AMG Black Series, KW's chassis know-how is in demand. The perfect setup at the touch of a button... If you are one of the first Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG enthusiasts and your "gullwing" does not yet have an adaptive chassis, you will find an intelligent retrofit solution at KW. For you, we combined the adaptive KW DDC ECU coilover suspension from our KW iSuspension range with the KW Hydraulic Lift System. With the DDC ECU coilover suspension from KW, you can not only lower your AMG SLS between 10 and 35 millimeters if you wish, but also choose between the KW driving modes "Comfort", "Sport" or "Sport+". If you want, you can even use an iPhone app to adjust the KW dampers separately on the front and rear axles to suit your needs. You don't need a technician or tools to do this, or you have to put your SLS AMG on a lift. The free KW DDC app in conjunction with our optionally available WiFi module gives you the option of adjusting the KW suspension directly, and the electronically adjustable KW dampers respond immediately to your settings. The scope of delivery of the KW DDC ECU coilover suspension includes a discreet KW DDC button for unobtrusive installation in the dashboard. This allows you to select the KW DDC driving modes "Comfort", "Sport" and "Sport+" directly from the cockpit if you wish. The KW DDC button changes the color to match the optional KW DDC APP. For example, if you are driving your SLS AMG on bad roads or on a trip through an old town on cobblestones, the "Comfort" mode is your ideal companion. The bumps in the road are harmoniously dampened and the KW DDC ECU coilover suspension automatically adapts to the speed. If you increase the speed, the damper characteristics change automatically and the chassis becomes tighter. In the "Sport" mode, you benefit from more direct handling and the SLS AMG drives much more demandingly than in the Comfort mode. If you switch to the "Sport+" mode on mountain passes, for example, the SLS will impress you with its uncompromising driving behavior. ... or more ground clearance The adaptive KW DDC ECU coilover suspension with the KW HLS lift system allows you to raise your lowered Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG in order to safely drive over obstacles such as speed bumpers, speed bumps, railway crossings, construction sites, garage and underground car park entrances. The KW lift kit allows you to hydraulically raise your "gullwing" on both axles by up to 45 millimeters. For this purpose, a hydraulic cylinder is mounted between the spring plate and the spring on each KW aluminum coilover strut. The big advantage of the hydraulic system is that there is no compression (movement) of the extended cylinder unit (no unwanted additional suspension) when driving, and the driving dynamics of your Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG cannot be affected. The scope of delivery for all HLS lift kit variants also includes a control unit that is connected to the on-board electronics. This means that your SLS AMG is automatically lowered to the original depth of the KW coilover suspension that you have selected from a certain speed.
