ST XA COILOVERS For sporty drivers who want to influence more than just a continuous lowering, ST Suspensions has developed the ST XA Line in collaboration with KW. The adjustable damper setup allows the driving behavior to be individually adjusted. For sporty drivers The adjustable damping characteristics of ST XA coilovers mean that the damper setup can be further adjusted individually. The damping technology used for this comes from KW. It allows the ST XA coilovers to be set tighter or more comfortable depending on the driver's wishes. The dampers are adjusted at the upper end of the chrome-plated piston rod. If the pulling force is increased, the car drives even more precisely and the body movements are reduced. If a more comfortable damper setting is required, the adjustment is also made using the rebound adjustment. The adjustable dampers also allow the change to a different rim size to be taken into account. But even in the basic damper setting, a vehicle with an ST XA coilover suspension is significantly more agile and offers sportier handling characteristics than a standard suspension. Easy variation of the lowering As with all ST XA coilover suspensions, the lowering is continuously adjusted using the coilover spring plate. Like KW, ST Suspensions uses a polyamide adjustable spring plate that allows the lowering to be easily adjusted using the trapezoidal thread on the galvanized spring strut. The lowering can also be changed when the vehicle is installed by simply turning the adjustable spring plate higher or lower. If the car has a non-wheel-guiding double wishbone suspension on the rear axle, the lowering is adjusted using the ST Suspensions rear axle height adjustment. For your information: the lowering is different for every vehicle depending on the design. While older vehicle models such as the Honda Civic (EJ9) can be lowered between 40 - 75 mm with the ST XA coilovers, the Audi S3 (8P), which is already very low from the factory, can still be lowered by 10 - 40 mm. KW Engineering: exclusively for ST suspensions The high-quality ST XA coilovers are based on the twin-tube damping principle in low-friction and pressure-resistant damper housings. The dampers are manufactured directly at KW. A monoblock guide and seal package reduces friction in the damper when the chrome-plated piston rod is immersed and retracted. In addition, optimal corrosion protection and multiple sealing of the galvanized spring strut ensure long-term driving pleasure with the ST XA coilovers. - Damping characteristics adjustable from the outside - Latest damping technology for a long service life - Reduced system friction for effective adjustment of the damping - Individual lowering within the tested adjustment range - Front and rear axles (if technically possible) with thread adjustment - Galvanized threaded spring legs with additional sealing for optimized corrosion protection - Complete solution with adjustable spring plate, spring system and stop elements with dust protection system
