In addition to tests on our KW 7-post driving dynamics test bench, we also carry out extensive test drives on country roads, the motorway and even on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, test kilometer after test kilometer, to guarantee you the perfect suspension setup. For years, the KW V3, one of the world's top aftermarket products, has been the reference for coilover suspensions. It is based on our many years of experience as a chassis manufacturer and supplier in international motorsports, such as in the touring car series ADAC GT Masters, FIA GT1, FIA GT3, International GT Open, WTC, VLN and also at the legendary ADAC Zurich 24h race Nürburgring. Similar to our racing coilovers from the KW Competition program, the rebound and compression stages of the KW V3 can be adjusted independently of each other. This individual adjustment option is valued by refiners, sports car manufacturers, tuners and demanding drivers worldwide. The perfect chassis setup for significantly more driving dynamics If you have already made the first performance modifications to your sporty road vehicle, it is easy to take these into account in the damper adjustment with the KW V3. The patented KW valve technology for the separate adjustment of the rebound and compression stages allows you to individually adapt the vehicle-specific basic adjustment from KW. For example, the KW bottom valve, which can be adjusted in twelve clicks in the low-speed compression range, gives you the flexibility to take the tire characteristics of your high and ultra-high-performance street tires into account when setting up the chassis. Thanks to the patented compression adjustment at the lower end of the piston in the stainless steel housing, you don't even need any tools. The adjustable compression adjustment with its twelve precise clicks allows you to influence the body roll and sway movements by hand without having to change the rebound damping that is optimally suited to the spring rate. With the individually adjustable rebound adjustment of the KW V3, you can directly influence the handling and comfort through the precise click adjustment. Depending on the vehicle type, the rebound valves of the KW twin-tube dampers at the upper end of the piston rod are adjusted using an integrated adjustment wheel or the plug-on adjustment wheel included in the scope of delivery. By increasing the traction using the adjustment wheel, the body movements on the body are reduced. This means that your car drives more accurately and you have even more stability at higher cornering speeds. For example, if you switch from the wheel/tire combinations approved by your car manufacturer to larger rims, you can use the KW V3 to perfectly coordinate the handling of your car and your new alloy wheels.
