The Akrapovic Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC / Cabriolet (C236 / A236) OPF/GPF Slip-On Line S-ME/T/16H is a full high-grade titanium exhaust system for the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC and Cabriolet applications.

This Slip-On Line Titanium system combines lightweight construction, bumper-mounted carbon-fibre tailpipe styling, valve-controlled sound, and ECE type approval for cars equipped with a gasoline particulate filter.

Titanium construction and carbon-fibre tailpipes

The exhaust is constructed from full high-grade titanium and finished with a twin pair of bumper-mounted tailpipes. These tailpipes feature hand-crafted carbon-fibre outer sleeves and titanium inner sleeves.

Special collectors inside both mufflers eliminate streaming noise, while inner cones act as acoustic reflectors to partially direct sound from the tailpipes to the cabin.

Valve-controlled sound character

Sound is linearized according to engine load and rpm. At cruising speeds, the exhaust remains smooth and refined. When driving more dynamically, the sound becomes sportier and more dramatic.

Sound is controlled by two exhaust valves and a control kit. The system monitors driving parameters and precisely controls the opening and closing of the valves to create a distinctive, finely tuned sound.

The Akrapovič Slip-On Line system weighs 11.9 kg, compared with 18.2 kg for the standard stock exhaust. This gives a weight reduction of 6.3 kg, equal to 34.6%.

This product is ECE type approved. The Slip-On Line Titanium exhaust system is ECE type approved for cars equipped with a gasoline particulate filter, and the ECE type-approval certificate also covers the Convertible version.

The plug-and-play installation means no remapping is required. An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is also available for owners looking for an enhanced acoustic experience from the Slip-On Line Titanium exhaust.
