The Eventuri Toyota GR Yaris/Corolla Carbon Turbo Inlet Tube – Gloss EVE-GR4-CF-CHG has been developed to provide the turbocharger with a larger and less restrictive air supply compared to the factory component. Designed specifically for the Toyota GR Yaris and Toyota GR Corolla, this upgraded turbo inlet increases the available air volume while maintaining a smooth, laminar airflow path to the turbocharger.

By completely redesigning the factory turbo inlet geometry, Eventuri increased the internal volume from 1,300cm³ to 2,200cm³, representing an increase of almost 70%. The largest improvement is concentrated around the critical bend leading into the turbocharger, where the original component is most restrictive. The larger air reservoir immediately before the turbo allows the system to draw air more efficiently, supporting improved throttle response and earlier peak boost.

Performance

According to independently supplied dyno testing carried out by Limit+1, the Eventuri turbo inlet tube produced the following wheel gains on a Toyota GR Corolla equipped with an Eventuri intake and stock ECU, replacing only the factory turbo inlet tube:

• 14 whp and 19 ft-lb in the mid-range
• 9 whp and 9 ft-lb at peak RPM

These reported improvements are attributed to the increased air volume available immediately before the turbocharger. Results may vary depending on vehicle condition, supporting modifications, and testing conditions.

Advanced Engineering

The turbo inlet tube has been engineered with both airflow efficiency and long-term durability in mind. The main tube is manufactured from prepreg carbon fibre, allowing a smooth internal surface that helps maintain laminar airflow while providing the rigidity needed to resist deformation under turbocharger vacuum.

The carbon tube connects to a custom nitrile hose, reinforced to withstand vacuum forces while providing a smooth transition into the turbocharger. This hose incorporates internal steps that create a seamless connection between the carbon tube and the machined turbo flange. The system is completed by a CNC-machined aluminium turbo flange, designed for a precise fit to the turbocharger while also supporting future upgrades. Thanks to its modular design, the flange can be replaced with alternative versions available separately for larger hybrid turbochargers.

Compared with the original factory turbo inlet, the Eventuri design significantly increases the available air volume around the elbow leading into the turbocharger.
