Wagner Tuning High Mount Intercooler Kit for Ford F150 EcoBoost (2015+) – 103% more volume & off-road ready

Revolutionize the off-road and towing performance of your Ford F150 EcoBoost! The Wagner Tuning High Mount Intercooler Kit is a competition-grade upgrade designed specifically for tough use.1 By moving the intercooler from its standard low-mounted position to a higher position, the cooling system is effectively protected from dirt, stone chips, and water hammer. Experience 103% higher charge air volume and extreme reliability under the toughest conditions.

Why this High Mount Intercooler Kit is a must-have for your F150 EcoBoost:
Extreme volume increase: The high-performance core (700x300x90mm) offers an impressive 103% increase in charge air volume (18.9 L vs. OEM 9.3 L) and 80% larger flow area.
Off-road protection (relocation): The higher mounting position effectively protects the intercooler from debris, mud, and water ingestion during off-road driving and river crossings-a crucial advantage for off-road and 4×4 enthusiasts.
Consistent cooling: The massive cooling capacity significantly reduces intake air temperatures (IAT). This supports higher boost pressures and ensures maximum power output in demanding conditions such as towing or in hot climates.
Efficient airflow: The new mounting position allows access to cooler, unobstructed ambient air above ground level, optimizing cooling efficiency.
Robust and lightweight: Made from lightweight, robust materials (total weight approx. 11 kg / 24 lbs) for precision and durability.

Technical detail: The advantages of high mount relocation
The standard, lower-mounted cooling system of the Ford F150 EcoBoost is particularly susceptible to damage and can lead to engine misfiring when driving through water. The Wagner Tuning Kit eliminates these weaknesses with its high mount design philosophy. The relocation not only allows for a significantly larger tube-and-fin core (700x300x90 mm), but also ensures that your modified EcoBoost engine remains thermally stable even when off-road and under high loads.

Suitable for: Ford F150 EcoBoost models from 2015 onwards
